New Life® Barugo needed a strategy and the appropriate visuals to effectively speak to a young audience, spur positive interest, and get a copious reach for an event they annually hold. 

“Reign” is 2023’s banner, themed to take on belief misconstructions and stereotypical fallacies revolving around Christianity. This prompted the use of colors and compositions that are almost never used in similar occasions—delivering a striking impression and strongly anchoring the message the event is seeking to communicate.

The red circle, as the key visual, pays homage to Christ; a representation of the crown of thorns, his blood, and his sacrifice. The tangible traits of the motion play and the elements seen in the layouts are driven by the primary mission of the event which emphasizes the establishment of one’s position in the belief and finding the right place within the Christian faith’s conception of righteousness. 

In spirit of the messaging of the occasion, the identity is foundationally built around the creative brief’s three directive words—purity, boldness, and passion—urging the use of Brutalist compositions, a highly contrasting palette, and a tamed audacious look. Aided by trend-conscious typography, the visualizations are suitably primed to successfully appeal to the younger generation.
